A: Because of the high stone mass, a full heat-up typically takes 45 minutes to reach 180°F+, and up to 90 minutes for maximum temperatures. However, the 2026 model's integrated air tunnel has reduced this time by roughly 25% compared to older versions.

What maintenance is required to keep the warranty valid?

To ensure longevity, we recommend an annual stone inspection. Over time, stones can crack and create "stone dust" at the bottom of the cage, which blocks airflow. Installation & Technical

Do I need a specific type of stone?

Yes. You must use rounded olivine diabase stones. Angular or decorative stones can crumble under the intense heat and may void the warranty. The rounded shape is critical because it creates the necessary air gaps for convection to move heat from the elements into your sauna room.

Where should the temperature sensor be placed?

For the most accurate reading with the UKU Wi-Fi controller, the sensor should be placed on the wall opposite the heater, approximately 6 inches (15cm) below the ceiling. Avoid placing it directly above the heater or near the door, as this will result in "false" readings and premature shut-offs.

Can I install this myself?

While you can physically mount the heater and stack the stones, the final wiring to your 240V circuit must be completed by a licensed electrician. This is required for safety, local building codes, and to validate your warranty.
